Smart Pricing 

Smart Pricing uses data science to determine your most premium time slots and increases your service pricing during those times. Smart Pricing is continually evaluating and analyzing your appointments and as a result, your most premium slot is subject to change, and service prices will increase (or decrease) accordingly. Clients agree to this service price at booking, and pay for the service with their card on file added at booking. These appointments are processed via StyleSeat and the same deposit schedule applies as outlined in the terms of service. Standard processing fees apply. In addition, a fee of 33% of the new revenue driven via Smart Pricing applies and will be retained by StyleSeat, rate locked in at time of booking. You will be notified of appointments booked that are smart pricing with a notification and indication on the appointment in appointment details. This appointment can be cancelled by any user and the fees to StyleSeat will not apply.


New Client Delivery

What is the New Client Delivery Program?

New Client Delivery is a program that connects Professionals to new Clients. When StyleSeat connects you with a new Client through this program, StyleSeat will charge you 50% of your advertised service cost for that appointment (the “New Client Delivery Fee”), up to a maximum of $50 per new Client. This charge will come out of what the Client pays you for the agreed upon service. All subsequent appointments from that Client are not subject to the New Client Delivery Fee. You will be notified every time a new Client makes a booking with you through the New Client Delivery program. Prior to the appointment, the appointment can be cancelled by either the Client or you, the Professional, and the fees to StyleSeat will not apply. If you feel you are being charged for a new Client in error, you may dispute the New Client Delivery Fee charge by contacting StyleSeat Customer Support and providing detailed information regarding the issue.

How do I opt-in and opt-out of the New Client Delivery Program? 

StyleSeat may automatically include you in the New Client Delivery program, and you will be notified of your inclusion in the program when you receive your first new Client. Upon notice of this first appointment, you can either accept the new Client and StyleSeat will charge you the New Client Delivery Fee or you can notify StyleSeat that you do not want to participate in the program. If you notify StyleSeat that you want to opt-out of the program, you can keep that first appointment and you will not be charged the New Client Delivery Fee, and StyleSeat will not connect you with new clients through this program. 

If after the first appointment you decide at any time that you do not want to participate in the program, you can opt-out by contacting StyleSeat Customer Support and completing the specified opt-out process. When you opt-out, we will stop connecting you with new clients through the New Client Delivery program, but you may still be charged for upcoming New Client Delivery appointments that have already been booked.
